Time to buy a Samsung Galaxy S6 maybe?

When the initial news came of Samsung lowering the prices of its flagship and latest phones Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, it was considered a hoax to good to be true. But when the prices were slashed in Europe, this unforeseeable thing proved to be true.
Now wondering what might be the reason of Samsungs' all of a sudden generosity, we came across to know that this decision was reached at after Samsung received its quarterly results. Now the revenue may have risen, according to the report, in the second quarter of 2015, but it as dropped a whooping 4-7% over the year. Thus leading Samsung to believe that purchase will drop further ahead.
When Samsung initially suggested price adjustments because of the report, it wasn't given much thought. But following the prices being slashed across, beginning from Netherlands where they were significantly lowered by 100 Euro for S6 and 150 Euro for S6 Edge, US is now also following suit and some retailers have started lowering the prices.
Now what remains to be seen is that this initiative will boost sale in the second half of 2015 for Samsung or despite the price slash people will still be looking for other feasible options. As the consumer market for the latest smartphones grows, so does the competition.
So if you are looking to change your smartphone, why not wait for a little more while, to see where the market sways.
